Broken Vow
I found release, a love to appease.
My heart he did seize, a love I did please.
A place so serene, a love so keen,
But alas, it was never meant to be seen.
A warrior bold, a love untold,
A game to behold, a story yet unrolled.
Love turned untrue, a painful cue,
He hurt me anew, though my love I did imbue.
His body takes flight, lost in the night,
Love, devoid of light, no longer in sight.
Love burns so bright, a radiant light,
But shattered reflections, lost in the night.
Forgive my release, a path to find peace,
A painful decree, but this sorrow must cease.
Nurture the young, let their spirits run free,
Let love be their song, for eternity.
Forever I'll stay, though memories may fade,
Love's eternal ray, a vow that I made.
